Internacional Presence – Guatemala.

@OrbisTerrarum continues to expand its international presence , this time in #Guatemala with the development of geotechnical, geophysical, and corrosion studies to assess the feasibility of a future photovoltaic plant. 

The aim of these investigations is to achieve an accurate characterization of the subsurface and a zoning of soil corrosivity, allowing the design of optimized foundations, the selection of appropriate coatings and protection systems, and the anticipation of maintenance strategies to ensure the plant meets or even exceeds  its expected service life. 

Across Central America, solar energy is leading the transformation, with over 2,300 MW of new capacity expected between 2025 and 2026, including nearly 1 GW from photovoltaic projects. This context confirms Guatemala’s role in a broader regional wave of renewable investment. 

By carrying out these studies, Orbis Terrarum consolidates its presence in America, adding a new country to its portfolio and consolidating its position as a global technical partner —one capable of delivering specialized ground knowledge for every stage of renewable project development.
