Orbis Terrarum, Photography Contest

For the third year in a row, Orbis Terrarum hosted our Internal Photography Contest a celebration of how our teams, from the field to the lab, capture not just data but also landscapes, details, and unique moments from our work around the world.

This year we had two categories:

• 📷 Orbis & Nature
  • 🥇 1st place: Gabriel González – “Desierto”.
  • 🥈 2nd place: Gabriel González – “Camello Andando”.
  • 🥉 3rd place: Jefferson Malpica – “Pablo Irlandes”.
• 📷 Orbis & LinkedIn
  • 🥇 1st place: Gabriel González – “Venecia”.
  • 🥈🥉 Tie for 2nd and 3rd place: Paula San José and Rubén Hernández – “Llama en apuros” & “Pirex on Fire”.

Winners were selected through an internal vote, with participation from the entire Orbis team—highlighting the collaborative spirit that drives us.

Moments like these remind us that behind every rigorous technical study are people, field experience, and a thoughtful eye on our surroundings.
