Orbis Terrarum has recently completed 8 integrated geophysical campaigns across Ireland , Italy, France, and Spain for projects involving continuous or cyclic loads: synchronous compensators, wind turbine foundations and gas compression facilities.

These projects require dynamic soil parameters shear wave velocities (Vs), dynamic moduli, and damping ratios that cannot be derived just from SPT, CPT, or standard geotechnical testing alone.

Incorrect processing generates unrealistic Vs profiles, misinterpreted stratigraphy, and dynamic moduli that do not represent actual ground behavior under vibratory loads.

At Orbis, geophysics and geotechnics work integrated throughout processing and interpretation. The objective is not generating seismic profiles, but delivering dynamic parameters engineers can use with confidence in foundation design.
