No matter where, we get there first.

In environments with high topographical complexity such as the site of a future Wind Farm in Spain, ground investigation presents a significant logistical and technical challenge.
Despite the difficult access, including steep slopes, interrupted paths, and areas with no defined tracks, the Applied Geophysics Department at @Orbis Terrarum successfully deployed a field campaign, thanks to a very particular kind of assistance.
The campaign included:
- Geophysical surveys using electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), MASW and Seismic Refraction: for identifying heterogeneous zones, water tables, cavities, geological structures and soil dynamic modulus.
- On-site data pre-processing and analysis, ensuring data quality and accelerating the delivery of reliable results.
- Post-processing, calculus and interpretation of geotechnical parameters based on geophysical properties.
These surveys are part of our soil engineering services for renewable energy projects, enabling our clients to make informed decisions at early stages of development, reducing uncertainty, and optimizing both design and costs.
Technical commitment, operational adaptability, and accumulated experience — that’s how we reach places few can.
